Assist in the successful operation of the University of Washington Baseball program. Participate in the organization, development and implementation of a championship Division 1 baseball program. Build and maintain positive working relationships with coaches, staff, and athletes. Work towards goals of excellence in all aspects of the program, representing the University of Washington, Athletics Department, and program with the highest professional and ethical behavior. Coach athletes, including the mechanics of assigned specialty areas, and development of highly completive skills. Participate in the administration and planning of practices and strength and conditioning programs. Provide a blueprint for a successful approach to the mental aspect of the game. Assist in the recruitment and evaluation of prospective student-athletes. Assist with administrative duties and public relations, participate in Husky Baseball clinics, fundraising activities, and the ongoing support and development of student-athlete academic success. Job Purpose: The Communications Director is responsible for assisting the team with building, developing, and maintaining strategic communication for the Dallas Wings. This person will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to create and maintain a favorable public image for the Wings by communicating programs, accomplishments, and/or points of view.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
- Lead all team publications including, but not limited to, media guides, game notes, feature stories, game recaps, and statistical information. Ensures accuracy, swiftness, and appropriateness of information
- Serve as the primary media contact for the Wings, with media requests, preparing media kits, and organizing press conferences/media availabilities
- Oversee the coordination and distribution of credentials for internal staff, media, officials, statisticians and other personnel and vendors for all home games
- Assist with the execution of media relations plans including, but not limited to, news pitches, releases, feature stories, and game recaps on local, state, regional and national media
- Assist in all gameday media operations (In-game statistical updates, credentialing, set-up, and breakdown of press conferences, transcribing and assisting with pre/post-game press conference and post-game notes)
- Manage media areas on game days
- Assist team executives with public speaking engagements, presentations, and preparation of articles for publications
- Develop relationships with sports and entertainment outlets locally, regionally, and nationally.
- Continuously monitor and analyze media coverage including print, radio, TV and online
- Effectively work with other departments in the organization to coordinate publicity strategy and messaging
- Identify storylines for both on and off the field/court and proposed target for each pitch
- Work with Vice President to align pitches (specifically off-the court/field) for monthly publications and non-sports outlets

Position Summary
The Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing & Fan Experience (Assistant AD) is responsible for the oversight of fan experience, game presentation, and revenue generation for the 20 intercollegiate sports within the Oregon Department of Athletics. The person in this role will develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and branding strategy for Oregon Athletics that will have a major emphasis on revenue generation through enhancing fan engagement and the in-venue fan experience, and increasing ticket sales.
This role is also responsible for vigilant monitoring and increasing recognition of the University of Oregon athletic brand, and working closely with the Assistant AD, Creative Services on branding and creative strategy. Additionally, this person will develop programming to include video board content, special effects, on-field/court recognitions, halftime shows, sponsor activations, in-game promotions, fan contests, and other entertainment elements.
This person will coordinate and execute a comprehensive plan that includes ticketing, marketing, video production, and digital engagement while working closely with creative services to oversee the development of creative elements to support plans. This role also ensures the alignment of units to support all external activities.
The Assistant AD will supervise two (2) positions in the areas of marketing and spirit groups, as well as all part-time employees and student workers to develop and implement entertainment elements for Oregon home games and select events. This position reports to the Senior Associate Athletic Director, Communications. The incumbent will be responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics programs, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the university and the NCAA.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree.
• Five years of experience working for an intercollegiate athletic department or professional sports team in the areas of fan experience, marketing, promotions, or revenue generation.
Professional Competencies
• Ability to collaborate successfully across multiple departments and stakeholders within an organization.
• Ability to work within a team culture, lead a marketing department, and develop, direct, and implement marketing efforts for nationally recognized athletic teams.

This role will be responsible for day-to-day content publishing, copywriting, and channel management across Aces-owned channels, with a focus on engaging and growing audiences on social media. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute the day-to-day social media publishing, active community management, and ensure brand integrity is being met across all channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.

About the Team
The Yahoo Sponsorship and Strategic Partnerships team is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key industry organizations, as well as overseeing Yahoo’s portfolio of sponsorships. The team is focused on partnerships that help achieve Yahoo’s B2B and B2C strategic goals.
Position Overview
The Sponsorship and Strategic Partnerships Manager is responsible for managing our national and regional industry partnerships with various advertising trade organizations as well as our brand partnerships/sponsorships in the sports and entertainment industries. The role will be focused on day-to-day partnership management with the goal of maximizing the value of our assets. In addition, this role will work to build meaningful connections with internal stakeholders to use the partnerships to grow our business.
Ideal Candidates
Ideally, you're local to New York to team up and partner with our fantastic teams 1-2 times a week. The right person for this role should be an excellent communicator, in both presenting (in meetings and on conference calls) and in writing (over email, slack, and through document creation). The person should be a creative problem solver, collaborative, passionate about building and growing partnerships, and come with a positive and proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership asset tracking and day-to-day partner communications.
- Assist in development of strategic and activation plans, including but not limited to: internal emails and other communications; digital marketing extensions (social, email); and executive talking points and speaker briefs.
- Effectively partner with cross functional teams including PR, product marketing, events, digital and sales to understand and execute against key business goals and overall project success.
- Research and identify new potential partners that help achieve our business and brand goals.
- Ability to analyze performance data and ROI to better optimize marketing plans and budgets year-over-year.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of demonstrated success in marketing (B2B and/or B2C).
- Deep understanding of media and/or technology
- Experience in leading large scale projects, ability to lead end-to-end marketing programs, and delivering ROI across a diverse slate of industry and customer experiences
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead strategic conversations with senior leaders.
- Ability to process a vast amount of information and understand and prioritize competing business needs
- Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail and tried project management skills and experience, leading cross-functional teams and projects simultaneously
- A hardworking self-starter with the capacity to manage multiple concurrent and fast paced projects
- Creative problem solver and passionate marketer that can help bring people together
- Strength in working collaboratively and cross-functionally to produce great work

Vertical Video Specialist

Core Functions:
The Vertical Video Specialist will ideate, produce, and publish social-first content for the Buccaneers platforms with an emphasis on brand storytelling, internet trends and vertical video.
- Responsible for the daily creation of vertical content for Buccaneers videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Content including, but not limited to, brand content, real-time reactionary content, and game and event coverage.
- Lead vertical video content strategy.
- Collaborate with video production, social media, and brand teams on generating social-first video concepts.
- Shoot and edit short-form content captured at practice, games, community events, etc.
- Monitor daily news and emerging trends to maintain content relevance.
- Keep an active pulse on Tampa and NFL culture and integrate brand direction into videos.
- This position requires nighttime and weekend hours. Some travel may be required, but not guaranteed.
- Experience & Education:
- 2 - 5 years in social media content production and editing
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, social media, video production, or related experience or field of study
- Deep knowledge of TikTok/Reels style content and editing
- Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite and CapCut, or similar
- Working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop is a plus
- Proven time management skills to coordinate working in and out of office, handle short deadlines and complete all tasks in a thorough manner
- Must be capable of working within a team environment.
