Responsibilities:
- Assign and edit stories for journalistic accuracy, audience relevance and tone, including real-time decision-making at various stages of content development.
- Work with writers to bring a distinctive, compelling and authentic voice to all Digital Editorial sports products.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to make content engaging and comprehensive.

Overview:
The Media Relations intern will work closely with the Chicago White Sox media and public relations staff for the 2024 MLB season. They will assist in all facets of the department including but not limited to, media clips, minor-league report, credentials, stat packs, lineups, game notes, postgame notes, media guide and season in review. The Arena Operations Lead will be responsible for providing a high level of maintenance and support to Basketball Operations and the Arena Operations staff respectively. The ideal candidate for this position must possess the ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. In This Role You Will
- Ensure all storage areas are in a neat and clean manner.
- Responsible for training and delegating work to Arena Operations Team Member

Chicago Fire Football Club is looking to bring in a strong leader for our Digital Marketing team to help build an industry leading Digital Marketing capability. This role will oversee all our performance marketing with a focus across both demand generation and lifecycle marketing efforts. The individual will manage a team that oversees our paid digital media & email marketing channels, as well as looking to expand into areas such as SMS and CTV in the medium term.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, but also someone who is willing and able to roll up their sleeves and help execute. Job Responsibilities:
- Lead all strategy, planning and execution efforts across all digital marketing channels on behalf of the Chicago Fire.

Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience, in roles of progressive responsibility for digital marketing execution & strategy.
- Significant experience in digital marketing, with a focus on performance marketing, demand generation, and lifecycle marketing.
- Proven track record of success in leading, managing and developing digital marketing employees.
- Proficiency in using marketing automation platforms, analytics tools, and other relevant technologies.

Job Duties
o | Coaches practice sessions or workouts as assigned. |

o | May be assigned to work with a specific group of student athletes on a regular basis. |
---|
o | Assists in coaching during athletic events. |
---|
o | May assist in maintaining statistics and coordinating with officials. |
---|
o | Maintains continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations and complies with the same. |

o | Assists in briefing student-athletes and monitoring adherence to above. |
---|
o | Assists in scouting and recruiting activities; may be responsible for specific geographic area. |
---|
o | Performs specific recruiting duties as assigned. |
---|
o | May assist in the implementation of the academic program including monitoring of individual student-athlete progress to ensure academic eligibility, enforcement of study hall program, and providing referrals to the appropriate University resources. |

o | Works with student-athletes and monitors their adherence to rules and regulations concerning conduct, appearance, and punctuality. |

o | May be responsible for coordinating one or more administrative functions as assigned. |

o | Works with Athletics sports medicine and strength and conditioning personnel, and with physicians as needed to implement team wellness and conditioning programs. |
